I am frustrated I have to go to the junkyard for a turn signal socket for a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. I guess it is a common point of failure since automotive products are supposed to have a 10-year supply of replacement parts. And, I am frustrated with life I worked my butt off from age 12 to age 24 and I have been burnt out ever since there is no reward for working hard. I’ve been tired and exhausted for 11 years. I am tired and exhausted I want to leave my wife (disabled by a botched operation for 6 years. 3 months before our wedding) and my job and my life, but I am in debt which is cosigned with student loans to my patents mostly to my mother who is now disabled form brain damage from seizures from an environment from a society and a job that did not care and she could not afford my student loans she is just making ends meet after a well deserved raise. ( She does an amazing job as a child’s librarian with 50+ children + parents going to the events and programs she puts together while also doing many other jobs for the library.) Life is hard while with every pay check we go further into debt while I am inspired by my mother who never quit working hard even when the cupboards were bare which scared me for life. God I want to quit, and I want to quit on God; while we haven’t found a church for us in 2 years I cannot stop believing in Christ no matter how much I am angry, sad, and done.

Pause and breath. Think about what you’ve learned through all this and apply it to make someone smile. It only takes one smile and it will grow from there.

Just going to say man, you’re not alone. You’re young and while things look dim right now, things will get better. I have felt exactly the same way you have and it’s hard to imagine things will get better, but they do.
If you haven’t developed a plan to get out of debt or looked at your options, start that after you figure out your other problems you currently have. Money is the smallest problem among the other issues you have described.
If things seem really dire, never hesitate to call 1-800-273-8255. There are plenty of people to help and I really truly hope things get better for you.

I am not calling that number they called the cops on my brother-in-law after he said he was okay and was going to sleep; they just made things worse. Even though many times I may feel like killing myself I definetly will not: I will run away from my life first. #FolkPunkSavedMyLife

I will go to Advanced Auto Parts tomorrow Autozone did not seem to have what I need. I need a turn signal socket, timing belt, water pump, power steering pump, power steering belt, and AC belt. I am going to make the repair in 750 miles with the next oil change . It is a big luxury for us to have 2 cars, ny wife does not drive much but it is a big stress relief when she does the grocery shopping like she did today.

You are right about money, but shit it is hard when your wife is bad with money like mine. She is getting better but she still realises she over spends. I am paying a little extra on one student loan because the amount I owe on that cannot increase.

Trust me, this sounds all too familiar. I started with getting rid of all our credit cards. That was a huge first step that helped a lot. Good luck!

Well if you believe in God’s promises, he promises that you will go thru difficult times, but to have faith in what waits ahead. Once you’ve endured the hardships, you’ll be blessed with joy and peace. If we didn’t suffer, we wouldn’t appreciate the good times as much. I’ve ha d a few rough years, but I think about what lies ahead to get me thru it. I know it wo n’t last forever, and eventually there will be some really great years to offset the bad ones.
